Job title: Events Content Producer

Location: Guildford

Hours: Full Time, although flexible working will be considered

Salary: £25k-£30k pa

Job description:

We have a very exciting opportunity for an Events Content Producer to join the award-winning team at Raccoon Media Group.

Reporting to the Head of Content, the successful candidate will assist in the curation and delivery of the content for a growing portfolio of events in the UK and the USA.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Research the market and spot industry trends to curate and plan unique and relevant and bookended content programmes for each event and to continuously reinvigorate the content programme
  • Speaker acquisition, including negotiating speaker contracts to adhere to budgets
  • Liaise with the marketing team to ensure that agendas go ‘live’ in a timely fashion and to create a joined-up approach to the marketing effort
  • Work with the Event Directors and sales team to ensure that content timelines fit within the project flow
  • Support the Head of Content as required
  • Attend the events, manage the stages and speakers on-site, and monitor/review sessions for quality control
  • Design and create on-site materials (holding slides, agendas, etc) as required
  • Deliver pre-show speaker briefings and documentation
  • Maintain the events’ speaker databases and other relevant administrative tasks
  • Manage website speaker content – profiles and agendas

Experience & skills:

  • Events industry experience preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic

  • Is organized and has good time management skills
  • Is proactive and self-motivated
  • Has an interest in activity, health and wellbeing

Event Sales Executive/ Account Manager

Location: Guildford

Hours: Full Time

Salary: £30k p/a pro rata (depending on experience) + Uncapped sales commission

Job description:

We have a very exciting opportunity to join the award-winning team at Raccoon Media Group, as we continue to grow.

The focus of the role is to support the Event Director with targeted stand and sponsorship sales with the opportunity to develop skills in event management and to progress.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Selling exhibition space and sponsorship and digital packages
  • Managing and upselling existing accounts
  • Lead sourcing new business opportunities
  • Cold calling new prospects
  • Proactively dealing with all incoming enquiries to ensure that they are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner
  • In person meetings when necessary
  • Timely completion of related admin including CRM system data input and management
  • Attending competitor and industry events, may require travel both UK and overseas

Experience & skills:

  • Sales experience in a media setting (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Personable, friendly, and approachable
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Organised and has good time management skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated

Training will be provided.
