In line with the government announcement on Monday about restrictions being extended by a further four weeks, the organiser of The National Running Show has announced that its South event has been moved to the 11 – 12 September 2021. The event will take place at Farnborough International and is set to welcome thousands of runners of all abilities for a packed weekend of inspiration, kit, tech and connection.
Originally due to take place 17 – 18 July 2021, the event has been moved by eight weeks to allow for a safe buffer after restrictions are set to expire on 19 July. The event is set to welcome a first-class speaker line-up including Kelly Holmes, Vassos Alexander, Nell McAndrew, Iwan Thomas and Roger Black.
The show, open to runners of all abilities, will feature an Inspiration Stage, Running Skills Theatre, Ultra Zone with Bad Boy Running and a large range of interactive features.
Nathalie Davies, Group Event Director at Raccoon Media Group commented: “While we are disappointed not to be able to run the event on the original date line we know that when we are finally able to get together face-to-face this event is going to be incredible. Never has a show been more anticipated! The response from the running community has been really positive, runners have faced 18 months of turbulence but with the incredible speakers, first-class brands and a host of new interactive features, the event will not disappoint. Let the countdown begin.”
Tickets to the show are available for £10 from https://nationalrunningshowsouth.seetickets.com/event/national-running-show/south/1485643
